Melanie Hughes is a self taught artist based in Leeds. Working mainly with acrylic paint, she creates detailed wildlife, portrait and figurative pieces that explore emotion, identity and personal experience.
Her work often captures feelings and challenges that are difficult to express through words. Alongside painting, Melanie continues to experiment with different mediums and is developing her skills within tattoo art.
